Refund Policy
Last Updated: June 9, 2026. This Refund Policy governs all refund requests made for BlackGuard subscriptions and services. BlackGuard is operated by Real Dudes LLC, who is the merchant of record for all transactions. Payments are processed through NMI (payment gateway) and CoastalPay (processor/acquirer). Refunds are issued by Real Dudes LLC and processed back to your original payment method via NMI/CoastalPay.
1. Refund Eligibility Window
Refund requests must be submitted within 14 calendar days of your original purchase date. This 14-day window applies to all initial subscription purchases. Requests submitted after this window will not be eligible for a discretionary refund.
The 14-day window begins at the exact timestamp of your confirmed payment. We recommend submitting your request as early as possible within this period to allow time for processing.
Customers in the EU, EEA, UK, Switzerland, Turkey, and Israel may benefit from a statutory 14-day withdrawal right under applicable consumer protection law. Real Dudes LLC, as the merchant of record, is responsible for honouring such rights in accordance with applicable law.
2. How to Submit a Refund Request
To request a refund, contact our support team at support@blackguardac.com within the 14-day window. Include the following in your email:
- The email address associated with your BlackGuard account
- Your order or transaction ID
- The date of your purchase
- A brief reason for your refund request
We will review your request and respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are processed back to your original payment method via NMI/CoastalPay and may take 5–10 business days to appear depending on your bank or payment provider.
3. Non-Refundable Situations
Discretionary refunds will not be issued in the following situations:
- The refund request is submitted after the 14-day eligibility window
- The account has been suspended or terminated due to a violation of our Terms of Service
- The request is for a subscription renewal (only initial purchases are eligible for discretionary refunds)
- There is evidence of fraud, refund abuse, or manipulative behaviour
Nothing in this section limits any statutory rights you may hold under the consumer protection laws of your country.
4. Plan Cancellations
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your customer panel. Cancellation stops future billing. Your access remains active until the end of the paid period. Cancellation does not automatically trigger a refund; a refund request must be submitted separately within the 14-day eligibility window.
5. Chargebacks
We strongly encourage customers to contact us at support@blackguardac.com before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with their bank. Most billing concerns can be resolved directly and quickly through our support team.
Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us may result in temporary account suspension while the case is under review. Where there is evidence of fraud or refund abuse, Real Dudes LLC may provide payment consent and delivery records to the relevant financial institution.
